Janette's musical journey began at age 11, quickly advancing to professional performances by 12 with her local church and the Corsicana Swing Orchestra. Her technical mastery earned her recognition as one of Texas's top three saxophonists selected for All-State Jazz during high school. She pursued her passion further with a full music scholarship and degree in music education from McLennan College, where she toured across Texas with college band directors and top student ensembles.

Over two decades, Janette has performed with the Houston Symphony Band, Phase 2 Jazz Ensemble, the Emerald City Band productions and many more while establishing herself as a versatile session and live performer. Her collaborations with notable artists including Mary Wilson of The Supremes and featured performances at the House of Blues have solidified her reputation in the regional music scene. Her work has been featured in Dallas Voyage and DFW Shout Out, with over 100,000 streams across social platforms.

As an educator, Janette has mentored over 100 students throughout North Texas, many advancing to professional music careers and pursuing music education accolades. In 2015, she founded Janette G Entertainment, a full-service entertainment brand representing vocal, instrumental, and DJ acts. As producer, director, and recording artist, she collaborates with international producers while directing musical productions and managing events. Her expertise include classical, blues, rock, pop, hip-hop, R&B, and contemporary jazz disciplines. Her background allows her to guide clients in realizing their complete musical vision.
